Nicholas Roland, Ph.D.

About the presenter

Dr. Nick Roland is the U.S. Army JAG Corps Regimental Historian and Archivist, and Professor of Legal History and Leadership at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA. He holds a B.A. from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and is the author of Violence in the Hill Country: The Texas Frontier in the Civil War Era and coauthor of Galvanic: Beyond the Reef—Tarawa and the Gilberts, November 1943, among other publications.
