Adam T. Hogan is a Ph.D. candidate in history at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. His research explores the relationships between religion, environment, and tourism in the United States. His dissertation, “Witness to God’s Creation: Cold War Religion, the Leisure Revolution, and A Christian Ministry in the National Parks,” examines the origins and cultural impact of religious ministries in U.S. national parks during the mid-twentieth century.

Before pursuing his doctorate, Hogan earned two master’s degrees—one in religion from Yale Divinity School and another in American Studies from the University of Alabama.
