Kendall Ferguson is an arts administrator with nearly 20 years of experience in the Dallas cultural community. A graduate of Howard University with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Art History, she also earned an M.A. in Art Administration from Winthrop University and began pursuing a Ph.D. in Art Administration at the University of Kentucky in 2024.

Her career began as Curatorial Assistant to Chief Curator Phillip Collins at the African American Museum in Dallas, after which she joined the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture as Public Art Project Manager, overseeing artist selection, contract development, budgets, and the management of new and existing public art commissions.

Ferguson now serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House and Museum, where she manages programs, exhibitions, tours, and partnerships that advance the museum’s mission. She works closely with city staff and the advisory committee to strengthen community ties and cultural engagement.

Outside her professional work, Ferguson is an active member of the Priscilla Art Club—the oldest African American women’s club in Dallas, founded in 1911—and enjoys learning to play bridge.
