
Mary Margaret Dougherty Campbell holds advanced degrees in Educational Administration and Rhetoric & Composition from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and Texas Tech University. With a lifelong interest in South Texas history, Texas folklore, and cowboy culture, she has taught English and communication at several institutions, including Bee County College and George West High School. Campbell has presented her research at numerous conferences and has been published in the Journal of South Texas and the publications of the Texas Folklore Society.
