Coffee with the Camels

About this event

Join us in the parking lot of the Abilene Convention Center for an early morning encounter with the camels from the Texas Camel Corps. The Texas Camel Corp is a modern educational organization founded in 1997 by Doug Baum. It brings live camels to historic sites and museums to teach people about the U.S. Army's 19th-century experiment with military camels. This is a free event for all TSHA Annual Meeting attendees. Grab your camera for this one-of-a-kind experience! Coffee and donuts will be served to all humans.
