Daniel Killian is a researcher in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Houston. A participant in the Mapping Houston’s Old Chinatown digital humanities project, Killian applies GIS and archival research to reconstruct the city’s early Chinese community networks. His academic interests include urban history, migration, and digital storytelling in Asian American studies.
