
Bradley Folsom is an Assistant Professor of History at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he focuses on Texas and Southwestern history. His 2018 book, Arredondo: Last Spanish Ruler of Texas and Northeastern New Spain, won both the Coral Horton Tullis Prize for Best Book on Texas History and the Kate Broocks Bates Award for Historical Research in Texas History. His latest work, Salcedo: Gatekeeper to the North American West, 1802–1813, is forthcoming in March 2026.
