Olivia Moore is an Adjunct Professor of History and Director of Auxiliary Enterprises at Kilgore College, where she manages the East Texas Oil Museum and the Rangerette Showcase Museum. She earned her Master of Arts in Public History from Stephen F. Austin State University, completing a thesis titled Mattie Castlebury—East Texas Oil Boom Legend, which examined the vital role of women in shaping East Texas oil culture.

Dedicated to advancing collaboration and scholarship in regional history, Moore founded the East Texas History Summit at Kilgore College to connect local historians, educators, and museum professionals. She has presented Mattie Castlebury: East Texas Oil Boom Legend at the East Texas Historical Association and Lemons to Lemonade: Collection Conundrums at the Texas Association of Museums.

Her leadership in museum management has focused on digital archiving, exhibit renovation, and community engagement. A committed public historian, Moore is a member of the Texas State Historical Association, East Texas Historical Association, and American Association for State and Local History, and she currently serves on the Gregg County Historical Commission (2025–2027).
