Deavion Wallace is a researcher affiliated with the University of Houston’s Department of Modern and Classical Languages. As a collaborator on Mapping Houston’s Old Chinatown, she engages with archival sources and digital mapping tools to document Houston’s historic Chinese enclave. Her research interests include the intersections of race, migration, and cultural memory in urban spaces.
